Tasks
Tasks in aheadOffice can be compared to usual worksheets. Any task belongs to a project, which in its turn must be created by an account manager.
On the tasks page you are presented with a table listing all the tasks you have access to. These are not only the tasks you have created or assigned to, but also the ones that belong to the projects you are participating in. With the table you can:
- Filter tasks by selecting project in the right upper corner
- Edit title, priority and status with inplace editor
- By clicking on hours hyperlink observe consumed hours, including information on invoiced and not invoiced hours
- Using action buttons on the right of the table observe task details, edit, open discussion widget or delete a task
On a task update the notification email is sent to the task creator and the person to whom the task is assigned to.
If you cannot see a task - make sure the "Filter by project" box has the right project selected.
Besides self-explanatory properties, tasks have:
Assignation (Assigned to) - an account to which the task has been assigned. This normally means that this person is responsible for the task process and completion.
Notify by email - select project participants who willl receive email updates on the task changes.
Hours - amount of working hours that has been used to complete the task, or a part of the task up to the moment which is suitable when you need to send an invoice and continue working on task task. All accessible roles can be employed here. Read more about roles and rates.
